so joe and i visited his parents for dinner over the weekend, and we shot some pictures out and around their garden. then, on our way home, i saw some really pretty yellow flowers along the side of the road and made him pull over to grab a few quick shots. passersby stared, and we both got eaten by mosquitoes.

this dress is my favorite for summer so far. i bought it at the very end of last summer and didn't wear it much. this year i can't seem to take it off! it's so lightweight, it's navy (my favorite color), it's polka dots, it has a peter pan collar AND pockets! and it was only $8. also, you can't see it too well in the photos, but the ribbon on my hat is floral!

i bought two dresses from modcloth's 35% off sale yesterday- soo excited! i can't wait for them to arrive so i can style them up on the blog!
i'm off for a 5-day weekend starting tomorrow, and we are taking a little roadtrip, so i'll have lots of pictures to share when we get back! happy early 4th!

ReplyDeleteYay, Crossroads! That is a really cute dress, and I love the Saltwater sandals. I've been seeing bloggers wear those sandals and now I want some. I haven't had a pair since I was 12...they are so cute and I love the simple, wider straps. And your outfit looks great against the bright yellow flowers!
