domino park

on saturday, we went yard-sailing and while we were driving around, we found this neat sculpture/art piece in the park.

it's been hot hot hot here, and on tuesday it's supposed to get above 100! it seems summer is finally here, and joe and i celebrated this by enjoying our first tomato sammiches of the year! tomato sammiches are basically just bread, mayonnaise, heirloom tomatoes, and salt, but their simplicity can be deceiving- they are the most delicious summer treat!

we both had luck at the yard sales; there was one with lots of international souvenirs where joe bought a bolivian tapestry and i got two pairs of handmade earrings from chile. the woman said she had traveled to over 70 countries!

  4. The domino artwork is fantastic! Someone needs to come to my hometown and make giant sculptures like this... only maybe set up like a jacks game. That'd be just as neat.

I love your outfit!! The color of that skirt is beautiful and I love the way it drapes on you <3

  6. Hey, it's the UO saddle shoes! They are so cute with your outfit! I love how the green skirt looks with everything else black and white, and this outfit works so well with the domino setting. Your description of the tomato sandwiches made my mouth water...I LOVE tomatoes. One day I will have a yard and grow them.
