this song and video:
i literally cannot get enough of this song, i listen to it when i run, when i get ready for work, in my car....it puts me in such a good mood! paul simon is in heavy rotation on my summer playlist.
i've also been dying to find a pair of huarache sandals; i finally bought this pair on etsy last night! i can't wait for them to arrive!

visited some baby cows after work last week! davis is widely known for being an agriculturally focused school, and clearly petting baby animals is the major advantage here.

this is our neighbor and best friend phil and his garden. that monster he is holding is a zucchini! we have all been enjoying grilled summer vegetables on a regular basis.

of course we went to the midnight showing of harry potter the other night, and it was amazing. we saw it in 3D, and they released special glasses that look liked harry's! i will only allow such a dorky picture of me on the internet for such a momentous occasion.
this little hair pin is definitely high on my etsy wishlist; it seems like it would make every day feel like a party!
spoon rings have been another thing i've been lusting over lately....hopefully i can acquire one in the near future.
i posted a popsicle recipe a few weeks back, and i have been making them ever since! they have really become one of my favorite summer treats, and i can't wait to find new recipes! i really want to order this book that modcloth featured on their blog!
and a few favorites from my tumblr:

how can i say no to crafts and cats?!

i really love the look of these multi-colored flowers, i think i will make it a summer priority to have fresh flowers in the house more often!

my very good friend tiffany is in paris for the summer with her fiance, and this reminds me of her! i love the style of the illustration!
and lastly, i will leave you with this:
i liked compiling some favorites, and will probably do so every so often. i also have some other new feature posts coming up this week! :D

I love Paul Simon, love huaraches, love zucchini... and love your dorky Harry Potter get-up!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with all your favorites here - such a great list! Paul Simon, monster zucchinis, bright flowers and Harry Potter - all favorites of mine too. I have been eyeing up a pair of huaraches on Etsy myself:)
ReplyDeleteThose huaraches are amazing, I have had my eye on a pair on Etsy also! Makes me want them even more, and a friend in Paris for the summer, well that sounds too good to be true, what a lucky girl!
