so on thursday, tiffany and i went to san francisco to see fleet foxes and the cave singers! it was a surprise for me, since her friend ended up having an extra ticket and invited me along! i thought it would be a regular night of working and homework, but suddenly i was on a train to the city to see some of my favorite bands!

the concert was amazing. we sang out loud and danced the whole night. it was really crowded and both bands were sooo good live!
we went to the fox theatre in oakland, which is really amazing and ornate inside. those statues are big gold buddha-like figures and they had glowing eyes. staring at them all night made me feel like we were in an indiana jones movie!
it was really fun to have a spontaneous girl's night out in the city in the middle of the week!

ReplyDeleteI wanted to see the Fleet Foxes at the Fox so badly but couldn't afford. Luckily, I ate at El Zocalo across the street so I was somewhat closer to the show :-) Glad to hear the show was amazing. Next time they come through the bay area I definitely need to go. And both of you look adorable!! Loving the stripes. xx
