anniversary picnic

yesterday was me and joe's 5 year anniversary! we had a lovely picnic in the park with wine, cheese, bread, strawberries, and chocolate!

.....please excuse the fact that my skin puts the phrase "a whiter shade of pale" to shame.

i picked up this dress last week at urban outfitters and it was on sale for $29! i don't have anything else this color, and the bow (i think this style is called "pussybow"?) was so adorable, i couldn't resist!

if you look closely, you can see the little elephant necklace that joe got me for our anniversary! i love elephants, and a long time ago, a lot of people had the nickname ellie-phant for me! i love a good pun :)

today is actually my birthday, so i will have some good birthday pictures to post later this weekend!

    What an adorable outfit!! I love your dress and shoes!1 <3 I know what you mean about being pale - I'm terribly fair skinned, but I never bother to try and tan because a) I can't - I just burn and b) I know it's bad for my skin. ;-)

    Um... so that is the best picnic food in the world, especially for an anniversary! Congrats! :D I love those shoes as well, awesome color.

    Also I can't say how HAPPY it makes me that my evangelistic rantings influenced you, in whatever small way, to watch Doctor Who. I can't even. Don't you absolutely LOVE David Tennant as Ten? Oh, he is so amazing. And I hope you love Eleven as much as I do, he is MY Doctor! :'D
