beach trip
today, i had the day off from work and our friend cameron came to visit so he, joe and i went to the beach! its like 100 degrees here in davis, so we drove out to the coast hoping for some cool weather. we stopped in sonoma, where there is a historic mission and is the first place where the california bear flag was established.
and there was this cool mural/map:
then we went to the beach in bodega bay and i found a jellyfish!
overall, a lovely excursion from work and the weather!

Oh my gosh I'm so jealous! I'm not a summer person but I would love to be on a beach right now, with a warm wind blowing. I'm just going to live vicariously through you, then.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes I have heard of the Sandman series! I'm a huge fan of Neil Gaiman's, but I never read the Sandman books because I'm not too big on graphic novels. I need to fix that!
